Mutiny Bay is Alton Towers' very own pirate paradise! Home to some truly swashbuckling adventures & attractions, the whole family can become fully fledged pirates under the guidance of Captain Black!

Introduced in 2008, Mutiny Bay recreates a traditional pirate style town. Visitors of all ages can enjoy a whole host of piratey attractions in the area to test their skills as a budding pirate. The centerpiece of the area, Battle Galleons, see's visitors battling it out with water cannons across the seas! In addition to the two other family rides, Marauder's Mayhem and Heave Ho!, there is also the fascinating Sharkbait Reef by SEA LIFE aqauirum which is home to many different underwater species, including tiger sharks!

In addition, the area is full of pirate charm and character. The courtyard not only plays home to a BBQ but also The Pirates of Sharkbait Reef show, which is performed several times daily. In addition, there's plenty of food and games stalls to ensure pirates of all ages are fed and entertained!
